Warranty

Tieline Pty Ltd (Manufacturer) warrants that this product is free of defects in both materials and workmanship. Should any part of this product be defective, the Manufacturer agrees, at its sole option, to:

Repair or replace any defective part free of charge for a period of one or two years, dependant on the product, from the Date of Tieline’s Invoice of the purchase of the product, provided the owner returns the equipment to the Manufacturer. No charge will be made for parts or labour during this period. Transportation charges to Tieline are the responsibility of the purchaser.  Return freight under warranty is at Tieline’s regular freight service.

Dead On Arrival (DOA) – Products received by you which are dead on arrival (“DOA”) are defined as Products that fail to function substantially in accordance with published specifications due to defects in manufacturing or materials.

In the event a Product is DOA, you are required to do the following: (i) notify Seller or Manufacturer within the DOA Period, (7) days from arrival of goods, that the Product is DOA (including a description of the circumstances thereof); (ii) return the DOA Product to Manufacturer within thirty (30) days of reporting the DOA; (iii) deliver to Manufacturer within the DOA Period proof acceptable to Manufacturer indicating that the Product is DOA; (iv) provide Manufacturer with all documentation and information that Manufacturer requests; and (v) follow Manufacturer’s standard DOA return procedure by obtaining an RMA directly from Manufacturer.

Subject to your satisfaction of these requirements, Manufacturer shall have the following obligations with respect to DOA Products: (a) upon receipt of notification from you of the DOA Product, Manufacturer will attempt to remotely validate the failure of the Product; (b) upon validation of the DOA, an RMA number will be created. (c) upon receipt of the DOA Product, manufacturer will subject the DOA Product to hands-on diagnostic confirmation of the failure by technical support engineers. If Manufacturer determines that the Product is not DOA, or if the DOA Product is not received at Manufacturer’s location within the twenty one (21) day period for returning the DOA Product following notification as set forth above, you will be charged the current list price for the Product shipped to you.

This Warranty excludes assembled products not manufactured by the Manufacturer whether or not they are incorporated in a Manufactured product or sold under a Manufacturer part or model number.

THE WARRANTY IS TERMINATED WHEN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING HAS OCCURRED TO THE EQUIPMENT:
Damage by negligence, accident, act of God, mishandling, or it has been operated incorrectly to the various instructions described in the Operation Manual. Altered or repaired by other than the Manufacturer.
Any adaptations or accessories other than those manufactured or provided by the Manufacturer have been made or attached to the equipment, which, in the sole determination of the Manufacturer, shall have affected the performance, safety or reliability of the equipment.
The original serial number has been modified or removed.
NO OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE, APPLIES TO THE PRODUCT, nor is any person or company authorized to assume any warranty for the Manufacturer or any other liability in connection with the sale of the Manufacturer’s products.
Manufacturer does not assume any responsibility for consequential damages, to personnel, equipment, expenses, or loss of revenue or property, inconvenience, or interruption in operation experienced by the customer due to a malfunction in the purchased equipment. No warranty service performed on any product shall extend the applicable warranty period. In case of unsatisfactory operation, the purchaser shall promptly notify the Manufacturer in writing, giving full particulars as to the defects or unsatisfactory operation. Upon receipt of such notice, the Manufacturer will give instructions regarding the shipment of the equipment, or such other matters as it elects to honour this warranty as above provided.
This warranty does not cover damage to the equipment during shipping and the Manufacturer assumes no responsibility for such damage. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not assignable or transferable.

Repair Procedure and Pricing

The following procedures and pricing apply to the Australian and American offices only. Local dealer products and pricing may differ slightly.

  1. All goods to be returned to Tieline are at the Customers expense. This includes freight, duty, import and any other associated costs
  2. Labour is charged at $180 per hour plus GST/Tax (if applicable)
  3. If a fault is found and the unit is under warranty, it will be repaired or replaced at No Cost. Return freight will be by Tielines regular freight service.
  4. If a fault is found and the unit is not under warranty, it will be invoiced at a cost of $180 per hour plus GST/Tax (if applicable) plus the cost of parts and return freight. Any duty, import and any other associated costs are at the receivers expense.
  5. If a fault is found and the unit is not under warranty but it is suspected that it is due to a manufacturing flaw, it will be repaired or replaced at No cost.
  6. Return freight will be charged for all non warranty work
  7. Goods must be returned in the original or similar size packaging otherwise the customer will be responsible for arranging and paying for the return freight at their expense whether under warranty or not.
