To use Report-IT simply download the FREE Enterprise Edition app from the iTunes App Store and use the unique login provided by the studio to automatically log in to TieServer and download all settings for connecting to specific Tieline studio codecs or FTP servers. All you need to do is open the app, enter the password and hit 'Connect' to go live to the studio in a snap - it doesn't get any simpler than that!

Reporters, announcers and remote talent don't even need to program Report-IT to use it. Studio Engineers can use an iPhone with a special Report-IT administrator login to remotely create a unique password and define specific connection settings for each user.

All connection settings for connecting to specific Tieline studio codecs or FTP servers are automatically downloaded into the application via TieServer when the unique password is entered into the iPhone.

This process not only makes it very simple for users to connect, it also significantly enhances broadcast IP network security by never exposing IP address details of studio codecs to reporters and contributors in the field.

How do I Buy Report-IT Live Enterprise Edition?

Reporters and remote talent can download the Report-IT Live Enterprise Edition application free from the iTunes App Store and connect live to a Tieline Bridge-IT codec or a Tieline G3 IP-enabled codec in the studio (the receive end of your IP connection).

Access to the Enterprise Edition is managed through Tieline's TieServer and you can purchase TieServer annual subscriptions directly through your favourite dealer. A minimum of 5 TieServer annual user licences can be purchased at a time and an administrator licence is also included for programming Enterprise Edition connections.

Each TieServer administrator licence lets you program Report-IT Live connections directly using your iPhone[1] so there's no need for a PC. You can purchase 1, 2 or 3 year licence packs and TieServer will automatically remind you via your iPhone prior to when renewals become due.

Note: TieServer only manages connection settings and all broadcast connections are made directly between the iPhone and studio codec.

What do I need to connect Report-It Live to the studio

When you register your Report-IT App for “first time use” we will email you with free test codec IP addresses, so you can connect immediately and test the app live to a Tieline codec in our offices.

To broadcast live from an iPhone you need a Tieline codec in the studio such as a Tieline Bridge-IT, or a Commander G3 Field codec, or a Commander G3 Studio codec.
